The Regulation Board for the Ribeiro Denomination of Origin (C.R.D.O. Ribeiro) presented in Barcelona the best wines from its wineries by staging a mass wine tasting session for over 150 professionals of the wine industry in just an afternoon. Representatives from 17 wineries, the President of the C.R.D.O. Ribeiro Mr. Luis Anxo, journalists, sommeliers, oenologists and sales directors all gathered yesterday at a market-space in the grand salon of the Condes de Barcelona Hotel, where the best Ribeiro’s were the star of the event.

The gastronomic conference “SEA, MOUNTAINS, VINEYARDS” has consolidated as a promotional venue for the “Terra Alta” region wines. Chefs Carles Gaig and Nando Jubany inaugurated the successful D.O. “Terra Alta” conference. The “unusual matches” presented by sommeliers Ferran Centelles and Sergi Montalà, managed to fill the auditorium with 160 wine tasters. The tandem made up by Felip Llufiru and Roger Viusà discovered the gastronomic possibilities of the white Garnatxa and positioned it as a reference among Mediterranean white wines.
