As previously announced, The Journal Basque, founder of San Sebastian gastronomic congress 10 years ago, has launched the next stage of the San Sebastian Gastronomika 09 (of 23 to 25 November), with production of grup gsr-produccions gastronomy and a technical committee formed by Hilario Arbelaitz, Gourmet Desserts, Juan Mari Arzak, Martin Berasategui, Andoni Luis Aduriz, Pedro Subijana and Roser Torras.
The design of the congress, which represents a new stage more interactive, participatory and international, is reflected in different areas:
San Sebastian Gastronomika Congress will have two main areas:
"The Path-The Memory of the Future-" where, in the form of duets, national and international chefs will explain the path followed by his kitchen to reach its final working;and for the first time in San Sebastian, "The infinite cuisines of Japan," where we discover the exclusive Spanish Nipponese both more advanced chefs, among them, the phenomenon Hattori Narisawa or myth, as the great masters of sushi, organ meats, fried or mythical Kaiseki.
Off Gastronomika want, meanwhile, advance in the worlds of the hotel, room, infant feeding, the barbecue, wine or pintxos through thematic presentations and interactive classroom sensory intention.
The parallel activities, one of the great innovations of Congress, expressed from elite meetings - "talking with ..." - about 30 people, kitchen and private lessons in close up to 15 people with the great masters who came from Japan .
Among the chefs who have confirmed attendance:Ferran Adrià, Arbelaitz Hilario, Juan Mari and Elena Arzak, Alex Atala, Pascal Barbot, Martin Berasategui, Heston Blumenthal, Jordi Butron, Carlo Cracco, Quique Dacosta, Wylie Dufresne, Christian Escribà, Ramon Freixa, Dani Garcia, Yukio Hattori, Andoni Luis Aduriz, Josean Martínez Alija, Hideki Matsuhisa, Mark Moran, Yoshihiro Narisawa, Rene Redzepi, Joan Roca, Ricardo Sanz, Pedro Subijana, Hans Valimaki and Marcus Wareing.
In forthcoming communications confirm some names are still in process management, while the popular program of events which will frame the conference San Sebastian Gastronomika citizen in the context of San Sebastian.
