Mercat de Mercats will fill Barcelona again

The second Mercat de Mercats —Market of Markets— is already running and will inundate the town centre of Barcelona in just two weeks with a prediction of 200 000 visitors. This markets fair aims to approach to the citizens the 39 food markets in the city, the quality and local producers, the catering business and the sommeliers’ world. It will take place from the 21st until the 23rd of October between Avinguda de la Catedral and Avinguda Francesc Cambó, with the objective of bringing the markets in Barcelona and the local produce closer to the people.» read more

After the success of the first market fair last year, Mercat de Mercats —Market of Markets— is back. The aim of this fair is to promote the markets in Barcelona and the Catalan local produce. As the regulations of the Barcelona city council state, a tender had to be submitted for the organization of the event, which was finally lead by Grup gsr, the firm that conceived and coordinated the fair in 2010.» read more
