Juli Soler, Josep Roca, Roger Viusà, Ferran Centelles, Toni Falgueras, Juan Muñoz and Agustí Torelló are just some of the sommeliers that attended last Sunday the dinner that the Catalan Association of Sommeliers celebrates annually. The dinner was headed by its President, Xavier Ayala, apart from 70 professional from the Catalan wine sector and members of the entity that enjoyed the second presentation organized by this association.

Ferran and Albert Adrià today sponsored the Tapa Solidaria project, the objective of which is to combat children’s poverty and social injustice by earmarking 0,50 € from each tapa sold at any of the sixty restaurants in Barcelona that have joined this initiative. The project aims to help the social action by the entity Casal d’Infants —Children’s Centre—, with more than twenty-eight years working in favour of the underprivileged quarters, and featured the main bait of the Adriàs brothers.

The legendary Rías de Galicia celebrated on Monday night its silver jubilee with a party that gathered more than 600 people. This unmissable event needed a venue that rose to the occasion as for both infrastructure and space: the old Estrella Damm factory in Barcelona. Hundreds of important figures attended this great party to wish a happy birthday to the owners of the honoured restaurant, the Iglesias brothers.
